ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2023, 31.03.2023 and 06.05.2023.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case in Crime No.146 of 2022 was registered for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC by breaking the lock of the petitioner's house and theft of gold jewels weighing 80.5 pawn, diamond earrings, cash etc. During the course of investigation, the accused was arrested and it was informed that only 15 grams of gold was recovered and no other recovery was made. In these circumstances, he gave representations dated 13.03.2023, 31.03.2023 and 06.05.2023 for changing the investigation to CBCID for fresh investigation. So far no order was passed. Therefore, this petition.

3. In response, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner's representations will be considered within a period of three weeks.

4. Considering the limited scope of this petition, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 13.03.2023, 31.03.2023 and 06.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
