Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing all the respondents to consider the representation dated 14.03.2025 of the petitioner and further directing them to conduct a survey of the land, measure, fix and demarcate the boundaries between the revenue land and forest land in survey No.183, 184, 185, 186 and 187 located in Padiyampudur Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District as per Village Map by exercising power under Section 10 of the Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 under the supervision and guidance of an expert body to be formed by this Court. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for the following relief:- To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing all the respondents to consider the representation dated 14.03.2025 of the petitioner and further directing them to conduct a survey of the land, measure, fix and demarcate the boundaries between the revenue land and forest land in survey No.183, 184, 185, 186 and 187 located in Padiyampudur Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District as per Village Map by exercising power under Section 10 of the Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 under the supervision and guidance of an expert body to be formed by this Court.

2. When the matter was called, Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents states that a survey will be conducted afresh within a period of four (4) weeks after notice to the petitioner and the Forest Department.

3. The Surveyor shall demarcate the forest lands and the lands which belongs to the petitioner. In case, after the survey, there is still a dispute as to the extent of the forest land, it is open to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional civil Court.
