ORDER
The petitioner filed O.A.No.3332 of 2003 challenging the impugned order of reducing his pay in the post of Forester to the bottom of time scale for one year without cumulative effect excluding the period spent on leave. After the abolition of the Tribunal, the matter was transferred as a writ petition. The respondent also filed a reply to the original application.
2. When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, on reaching the age of superannuation, during the pendency of the matter, retired from service. Subsequently, the petitioner was not in touch with him, although repeated letters had been sent.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of instructions. No costs.
