Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the relief sought for in the present writ petition seeking retirement benefits including pension and gratuity has been settled by the respondents, therefore nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.

2. The learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has not contravened the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
