The petitioner, having purchased the land situated in Survey No. 52/2, 52/9, to an extent of 73 cents, in Virumandampalayam Village by a registered sale deed vide Document No. 7032 of 2005, in the year 2005, sought " No Objection" Certificate for selling the same.

From the records, it is seen that the respondent has directed the Tahsildar, Uthukuli, to conduct an enquiry and by proceedings in Na.Ka. No. 1407/2014/m4 dated 15.07.2015, the Tahsildar has sent a report to the respondent. Despite the same, no orders have been passed by the respondent, which necessitated the petitioner to file this writ petition, after submitting a representation on 30.11.2015.

Considering the above, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 30.11.2015, pursuant to the aforesaid proceedings of Tahsildar, Uthukuli, dated 15.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
