PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus by calling for the records of the fifth respondent issued Memorandum in Na.Ka.No.1/27/120/2024 dated 18.11.2024 and the third respondent's proceedings in Rc.No.797/2024/W3, dated 21.01.2025 and the 5th respondent's memorandum in Na.ka.No.194/38/2025 dated 24.04.2025 and quash the same and directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2024 and take necessary actions and the same was forwarded to the fourth respondent by the second respondent in Petition No.285.2025/POL/CC-HQ dated 10.01.2025 on merits within stipulated time.

The petitioner married the seventh respondent on 03.02.2021. From the wedlock, a child was born on 20.08.2022. Thereafter, the marriage hit the rocks. The petitioner has initiated divorce proceedings in O.P.No.2559 of 2023 on the file of the VI Additional Family Court at Chennai.
2. On 18.11.2024, the petitioner was called to submit an explanation
and produce her original community certificate. This is on account of the fact that the sixth respondent had forwarded a complaint at the instance of the seventh respondent- the petitioner's husband, stating that the petitioner does not belong to most backward class community and belongs to only backward community.
3. The petitioner was called by the District Backward Class and and Minority Welfare Officer for personal appearance. The petitioner states that on 30.01.2025 she had also submitted her explanation. In addition, she had also applied for fresh community certificate through , nrth ikak; run by the State of Tamilnadu. The petitioner is challenging the proceedings of the respondents calling upon her to attend before the District Vigilance Committee.
4. When the Writ Petition was called Mr.Bhuvneswaran, submitted that the petitioner has already given her certificates for verification last week. He states that the petitioner has no objection for the respondents to
scrutinize the genuineness of her community certificate.
5. Mr.Hasan Fizal, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the entire procedure will be completed within 12 weeks from today. His statement is recorded.
