ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash FIR in Crime No.1367 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working an employee in a jewellery shop for a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

decade and a half year. Now, the petitioner had entered into an agreement with a land lord for starting up a new shop on his own. The owner of the jewellery shop lodged a complaint against the petitioner and others, wherein, it is stated that a sum of Rs.80,00,000/- have been lost over a period of time. On receipt of the complaint, a case in Crime No.1367 of 2020 has been registered.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that initially a case was registered by the first respondent and after investigation, he filed 'Further Action Dropped' report on 31.08.2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthangarai. 4.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudicating the petition and hence, the same is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
