Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned inscription dated 29.02.2016 fixed on wall of dilapidated condition building, situated at Panchayat Union Building, near Uzhavar Santhai, Thanjavur Road, Tiruvarur affixed by the 4th respondent and quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondents to provide the suitable accommodation to the eligible street vendors contemplated the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelyhood and regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and this Court to take appropriate action against the erring officers for swindled the public fund about Rs.4,00,000/- (Four lakhs) in the
guise of conducting commercial complex constructed under the Thiruvarur Union general fund (2014-2015) building opening ceremony on 29.02.2016.

O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner confines the issue in the present case to what he claims to be swindling of public funds to the extent of Rs.4 lakhs under the guise of making a commercial complex / renovation when the building continues to be in the same dilapidated condition and no function as alleged in plaque installed in the place ever took place.
2.Since the District Collector's name also appears in the plaque, it may not be possible to direct him to go into the issue. Thus, the first respondent is directed to look into this aspect of the complaint and if infirmity is found, to take action in accordance with law. The exercise be undertaken within one (1) month from the date of receipt of the order. 3.Writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.19075 of 2016 stands closed.
