O R D E R

The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as sanitary worker on temporary basis in the Kinathukadavu Town Panchayat by order dated 05.02.1998 of the fifth respondent. Thereafter, five sanitary workers who were appointed along with the petitioner herein, have been regularised with time scale of pay with back wages with effect from the year 2006. The petitioner met with an accident while working in the Panchayat and was under treatment from September 2005 to June 2006. His representations to the respondents to regularise his services went in vain. Hence this writ petition.

2.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Govt.Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.N.Manikandan, learned counsel, takes notice for the fifth respondent. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
