ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 13.03.2009 and 14.05.2010 requesting to re-transfer the land comprised in S.No.55/1 (0.76 Acre) Thiruvanmiyur Village, Chennai-41 in favour of him, as per the provision of Section 48-B of the Land Acquisition Act as amended by the Tamil Nadu Act 16 of 1997 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be prescribed by this Court. 2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner reported no instructions from the petitioner. The learned counsel has also filed a memo dated 05.06.2018 to that effect.

3.In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and having regard to the limited scope of the relief

sought for herein, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.
