Respondent PRAYER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ in the nature of writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or direction to call for the records on the file of the respondent in F.I.R.No.9/AC/2017/CCI of 2017 dated 21.11.2017, quash the same as illegal, incompetent, irregular and direct the respondent to return the articles seized on 05.12.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.V. Raghavachari For Respondent : Mr.R.Ravichandran Government Advocate (Crl. Side) O R D E R The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the main accused has died and the petitioner is the wife of the deceased has filed this writ petition for quashing the criminal case in F.I.R.No.9/AC/2017/CCI of 2017 dated 21.11.2017, as illegal, incompetent, irregular and direct the respondent to return the articles seized on 05.12.2017.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the State has to file a closure report (Action dropped).

3.In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to move an appropriate application before the appropriate court once the closure report is filed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
