This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 49 days in filing the written statement in the above suit.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this application it is stated that the plaintiff and the defendants are the owners of the undivided share of the suit property. It had been further stated that the defendants had filed O.S.No.6481 of 2022 before the City Civil Court, Chennai and thereafter, this suit for partition had been filed. Therefore, there was a delay in forwarding the documents to the learned counsel for giving instructions for preparing the written statement.
