Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue individual patta to the petitioners in respect of their property in S.F.No.46/4, to an extent of 11 cents, in Gengureddykuppam Madura, Thirunidravur Village, originally Sriperumbadur Taluk, now Poonamallee Taluk and firka, Thiruvallur District, based on the representation dated 11.02.2015, after receiving all the necessary charges as per law.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to issue individual patta to the petitioners in respect of their property in S.F.No.46/4, to an extent of 11 cents, in Gengureddykuppam Madura, Thirunidravur Village, originally Sriperumbadur Taluk, now Poonamallee Taluk and firka, Thiruvallur District, based on the representation dated 11.02.2015.

2.A representation was made by the petitioners to the second respondent on 11.02.2015, seeking issuance of separate patta to the property situated in S.F.No.46/4, to an extent of 11 cents, in Gengureddykuppam Madura, Thirunidravur Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District, basing reliance upon the settlement deed of the year 1984. As the said representation is yet to be considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4.Though the petitioners had sought for a larger prayer, as the representation is pending consideration with the second respondent, suffice it to direct the second respondent to dispose of the said representation. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, by directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 11.02.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioners as well as the other concerned parties, whose names are shown in the joint patta as of now. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
