O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the Principal District Munsif Cum Court of the Rent Controller of Vellore to dispose R.C.O.P.No.4 of 2016 within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen, aged 82 years. He filed R.C.O.P.No.4 of 2016 under Section 4(3) of the Tamil Nadu Lease and Rent Control Act 1960 for fixing the fair rent.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent filed the counter and the matter is pending for inquiry. The respondent has filed I.A.No.03 of 2018 for appointment of an Advocate Commissioner and it is pending from February 2018.

4. Considering the fact that R.C.O.P.No.4 of 2016 was filed in the year 2016 and the fact that the petitioner is a senior citizen, aged 82 years, the learned Principal District Munsif Cum Rent Controller of Vellore is directed to dispose of I.A.No.03 of 2018 immediately and then to dispose the main R.C.O.P.No.4 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four(04) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
