ORDER

The petitioner has filed this contempt petition, to punish the respondent for disobeying the order of this Court dated 20.09.2021 made in W.P.No.20000 of 2021.

2.In the compliance of the order dated 20.09.2021 in W.P.No.20000 of 2021, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have paid an amount of Rs.23,512/- only towards Gratuity. However, during the period when the petitioner was under suspension, he has not been paid the amount.

3.The order passed by this Court on 20.09.2021 merely directs the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2021 and pass order. There was no final determination to the rights of the petitioner on merits. Therefore, there is no scope for entertaining this contempt petition.

4.Considering the above, I do not find any reasons to keep this contempt petition alive, as there is no contempt of this Court dated 20.09.2021 in W.P.No.20000 of 2021.

5.Therefore, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law, if any, from the respondent for recovering the balance amount. 13.10.2022 Index : Yes/ No Internet : Yes/No Speaking/Non-Speaking Order jas 3/5
