The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the appointment for Anganwadi Helper at Erumapatti Primary School and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2018 within a stipulated period.

O R D E R

The present Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the appointment for Anganwadi Helper at Erumapatti Primary School and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2018 within a stipulated period.

2.By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader

appearing for the 2nd respondent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, she attended the interview on 30.08.2017 for the post of Anganwadi Helper, but has not received any information after attending the interview. In such circumstances, she sent a representation dated 05.09.2017 to the District Collector, Namakkal, for which no reply was received by her. She again gave a representation to the 2nd respondent on 30.08.2018 to consider the petitioner for appointment as Anganwadi Helper at Erumapatti Primary School. Despite receipt, no order has been passed by the 2nd respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent.

5.In the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to give a copy of the representation dated 30.08.2018 along with copy of this order to the 2nd respondent and on receipt of such representation, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of representation and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
