Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

2. This application is filed to receive additional documents which were omitted to be filed along with the plaint. The petitioner has explained the reason for the said belated filing of the documents at paragraph No.4 of the affidavit.

3. On perusing the list of documents sought to be introduced and the reason stated in the affidavit, this Court finds that these documents are related to the incorporation of the partnership firm in the year 1948, which was later converted into a private company limited in the year 2015. These are all documents pertaining to the transformation of the plaintiff company from the partnership firm into private company limited.

4. Taking note of the fact that the main suit is filed for alleged infringement of copy right held by the plaintiff and these documents sought to 1/3

be introduced are the documents related to plaintiff's company, this Court is of the view that the application shall be allowed subject to proof and relevancy of the documents. The defendant shall also given liberty to file additional written statement if any within 21 days from today.
