ORDER

Heard Mr.J.Milton Arul Rajendran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to issue patta on the petitioner's property situate at No.7, Pazhamathur village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2014.

3.It is seen that pursuant to the application made by the petitioner's father, an enquiry was conducted by issuing summons dated 05.09.2000. The petitioner's grievance is that thereafter, nothing has happened. Therefore, he gave a representation dated 11.06.2014.

4.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2014, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.06.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
