ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by 1st respondent proceeding in Letter Ref.No. FCL/317296623/24 DATED 07.03.2024 and quashing the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to issue the passport to the petitioner in light of the Annexure C declaration, Part-I, Schedule III of the Passport Rules, 1980.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is a mother, she made an application for issuance of fresh passport for her minor daughter. The first respondent has closed the said application as the petitioner is not responded. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that without interfering with the impugned order, this Court may permit the petitioner to make a fresh application for her minor daughter for getting new passport.
4. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that in the impugned order itself stated that the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh application in future.
5. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court, without interfering
with the impugned order, permit the petitioner to make a fresh application for her daughter along with necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the said application, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders within a period of six weeks thereafter in term of the Passport Act.
