ORDER

The petitioners are stated to be in possession of the lands owned by the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board. The petitioners have made individual applications before the first respondent for providing them electricity service connection. Since there was no follow up action taken by the first respondent, the petitioners are before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for respondents 1 and 2 and the learned standing counsel for the third respondent.

3.The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the individual applications submitted by the petitioners for service connection on merits and as per law with notice to the third respondent. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
