Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners as Computer Assistants from the date of their initial appointment as such on 01.06.2007, 20.06.2007, 20.07.2007 and 16.05.2007 respectively and to regularly absorb them in the said post or in any suitable post in the Department, commensurate with their educational qualification and to grant them all consequential benefits.

According to the petitioners, they have been working for years together with a fond hope that their services would be regularised. The petitioners have given individual representations dated 10.01.2015, requesting the second respondent to consider their case for regularisation. Since follow up action was not taken by the said authority, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations dated 10.01.2015 submitted by the petitioners on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Status Quo as obtained today shall be reserved till the disposal of the representations.

3. The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
