Heard Mr.R.Abdul Mubeen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition to quash the notice of enquiry dated 18.08.2.014 and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct fresh enquiry into the allegations.

3. During the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Government on 27.02.2015. According to the petitioner, the entire proceedings is vitiated on account of serious procedural infirmities.

4. In the light of the fact that the petitioner's has approached the Government by way of appeal, as provided under the provisions of the Wakf Act, it is for the petitioner to pursue the appeal before the Government. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to pursue the appeal filed before the Government on 27.02.2015. No costs.
