O R D E R

The petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher by the fourth respondent. The appointment was approved by the District Elementary Education Officer vide proceedings dated 8.8.1997. However, he was not paid the increments for the period from 28.4.1997 to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

31.5.2003. The petitioner, having found that under similar circumstances, pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Government passed an order in G.O.No.413, Finance (PGC) Department dated 4.11.2010, submitted a representation on 30.10.2014, requesting the third respondent to extend the benefits by taking into the earlier period. Since the said representation was not taken up for consideration, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 30.10.2014 on merits and as per law and in the light of the Government Order in G.O.No.413, Finance (PGC) Department dated 4.11.2010 and the subsequent order dated 18.6.2014 passed by the District Elementary Educational Officer, Thirunelveli. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
