It was brought to the notice of this Court that as early as on 13.11.2024, that the petitioner in this writ petition died and therefore, the matter was adjourned from time to time to enable the learned counsel to take appropriate steps to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner. However, today the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of his best efforts to contact the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner, he is unable to secure any
information and hence expressed his inability to file appropriate application to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner.
2. In view of the same, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition has already abated and the same cannot be decided on merits in the absence of the legal representatives being brought on record. In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is closed as having abated while granting liberty to the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner to file appropriate application in case if they intends to pursue this writ petition any further. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
