The grievance of the petitioners in this case is nonconsideration of their representations dated 28.02.2018 and 07.09.2018 made to the 1st respondent, to promote them to the post of Superintendent dispensing with the service qualification even though, the similarly situated persons have already been allowed such benefit and hence, the petitioner has come to this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider their such representations.

After hearing the learned counsel appearing for the parties and going through the materials on record, especially the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court dispose of these writ petitions at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners made in this regard on its own merit and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment and communicate the decision taken to the petitioners thereof. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of such representation submitted by the petitioners in any particular manner. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
