ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 471, 477A, 120(b) of IPC in Crime No.1 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is listed today, Mr.Dhanaram Ramachandran, appeared today and prayed some more time for getting instructions.

3. This Court is not inclined to grant some more time since this matter is already heard.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is only Secretary and he was falsely implicated in this case and already property of the petitioner is also attached. Hence, prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent reported that the petitioner was a secretary during the relevant point of time and by making falsification of records and also by creating bogus documents of gold jewel loans and misappropriated 1745.100 grams of gold

jewels to the value of Rs.96,99,297/-. Similarly by adopting the the same modus operandi, the cattle loans and other types of malpractices have been committed and total amount involved in this case is Rs.2,48,17,301/-. In this regard Section 81 enquiry was also conducted and the role of the petitioner is also unearthed and after that the criminal case is registered, the investigation in this case is pending.

6. Considering the fact that huge amount of Rs.2,48,17,301/- has been misappropriated by the petitioner herein and he is the prime accused in this case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
