..Respondent/Complainant Sub Application filed under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure praying this Court be pleased to suspend the order of Sentence made in Criminal Contempt Petition No.929 of 2020 dated 27.08.2021. The above Sub Application coming on this day before this Court for hearing in the presence of Mr.K.Perumal, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner/Contemnor-2 herein; and upon reading the Application and the affidavit of U.Vasudevan, filed herein; the Court made the following order:

"On 25.10.2021, we passed the following order : "Today, U.Vasudevan, is present via video conferencing.

2. Mr.K.Perumal, learned counsel appearing for U.Vasudevan, submitted that the Hon'ble Supreme Court has, by order dated 22.10.2021, granted exemption to U.Vasudevan from surrendering to custody. He further submitted that the certified copy of the order has not yet been received and the same will be filed on receipt. Post on 19.11.2021 for filing a copy of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court."

2. Today, Mr.K.Perumal, learned counsel appearing for Mr.U.Vasudevan has filed a copy of the order dated 22.10.2021 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, which reads as follows : "Heard I.A.No.126598/2021, which is an application for exemption from surrendering.

Considering the fact that the High Court has suspended the sentence till today, the exemption from surrendering to the petitioner is granted.

Accordingly, I.A.No. 126598/2021 is allowed and disposed of." Recording the same, this sub application for suspending the order of sentence dated 27.08.2021 passed in Suo Motu (Crl.) Cont. P.No.929 of 2020, is closed."
