O R D E R
The grievance expressed by the petitioner appears to be that under the guise of inspecting the premises with regard to the possession of any prohibited medicine or expired drugs, the premises in which the petitioner is running the clinic, has been sealed without recourse to law and therefore, came forward to file this writ petition.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to Section 22 of the Drugs and Narcotics Act, 1940 and would submit that the said provision has been given a complete go-bye, by locking and sealing the premises in which, the petitioner is running her dental clinic and prays for appropriate orders.
3.Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions would submit that the father of the petitioner, though not medically qualified has started practising medicine and also allopathy medicine which led to the sealing of the premises and after notice, the lock and sealing has been lifted and the petitioner has been handed over possession of the premises. The submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions, is placed on record. 4.In the light of the above said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition as on today. Therefore, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
