ORDER
This Petition had been filed to call for the records of C.C.No.234 of 2019 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town at Chennai and quash the same.
2. When the case came up for hearing on 19.04.2022, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner passed away. Therefore, he sought dismissal of this petition. This Court had directed the learned Counsel for the Petitioner to file a memo along with the death certificate of the Petitioner and the case was adjourned to 21.04.2022.
3. The order of the High Court, dated 19.04.2022 is as follows:

"Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the Respondent submitted that the Petitioner herein, who is the Accused before the learned Judicial Magistrate, George Town is reported dead. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Petition. The Counsel on record for the Petitioner is present in Court. He is directed to furnish the death certificate along with memo in this regard. Call on 21.04.2022."
4. Today, when the case came up for hearing, as per the directions issued by this Court on 19.04.2022, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, filed a memo along with death certificate of the Petitioner herein, who is the Accused before the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC.IV, George Town, Chennai in C.C.No.234 of 2019.
5. Accordingly, the said memo is recorded and this petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
