O R D E R

The contempt petition is filed stating that there is no compliance with the directions under order dated 22.04.2022 in W.P.No.34069 of 2019.

2. As against the aforesaid order, the State has filed a Writ Appeal bearing W.A.Nos.2358 and 2359 of 2024 and by order dated 05.08.2024, the Writ Appeals were disposed directing the respondents to consider applications dated 03.11.2001 and 21.06.2005 filed by the Writ Petitioners in light of the recommendations made by the State Level Screening Committee.

3. I am given to understand that the representations dated 03.11.2001 and 21.06.2005 have been disposed by order dated 16.08.2024. Challenging that order, the petitioner has filed a fresh writ petition in W.P.No. 27675 of 2024, which is pending before this Court.

4. Since much water has flown under the bridge, including order passed in Writ Appeals challenging order dated 22.04.2022, I am of the view that the present Contempt Petition has worked itself out and the petitioner may well pursue his remedy in the Writ Petition now filed by him.

5. Recording the aforesaid, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
