O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to survey the lands in accordance with the petition dated 23.02.2018.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is the owner of the property situated at Moranam Village, Vembakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, comprised in Survey No.139/3A1, extent of Hector 0-52-50, Survey No.139/3A2, extent of Hector 0-40-40 and Survey No.130/5, extent of 28 cents.

3. It is the contention of the petitioner that one Duraikannu filed a suit in O.S.No.415 of 2008 and one Kabali filed a suit in O.S.No.431 of 2008 in respect of the above said property before the District Munsif Court, Cheyyar and both the suits were dismissed on 17.08.2015. It is the further contention of the petitioner that when she applied for survey of the property, the said Duraikannu and Kabali are threatening the Surveyors.

4. Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts, liberty is given to the petitioner to give a representation to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police for police protection and on receipt of the same, the respondent police shall afford police protection to the Revenue authorities, as and when they come for surveying the property.
