Heard Mr.G.Jeremiah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on his representation dated 27.10.2014.

4. The petitioner is the President of Andheripatti Union, Mathur Panchayat Union, having been elected in the elections conducted during 2011. The petitioner states that there is a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

difference between the petitioner and the Vice President, who is the co-signatory of the cheques to be signed by the President. According to the petitioner, the Vice President refuse to sign the cheques from the month of January 2014. Therefore, the petitioner is said to have convened a meeting of the Vice President on 27.10.2014 to authorise some other ward member as co-signatory instead of the Vice President. However, the 1st respondent passed an order on 18.12.2014, entrusting the cheque signing power to the 2nd respondent viz., the Block Development Officer. This has been challenged by the petitioner in W.P.No.3392 of 2015 and this Court granted an order of interim stay on 11.02.2015.

Now, the petitioner seeks disposal of the representation dated 27.10.2014.

In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
