Heard Mr.K.Sudhakar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to direct the authorities to take appropriate action in his complaint dated 03.01.2015 and pass appropriate on the same within a time frame.

4. According to the petitioner, misusing the post, the President and others have damaged the canal, which prevented the water source to the pond, as a result of which, the agricultural activities have been affected. In this regard, a representation is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending before the authorities concerned and since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

5. Though such allegations have been made by the petitioner, the petitioner has not impleaded those persons who are alleged to have damaged the canal or caused disruption.

6. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2015, by directing the Tahsildar to enquire into the matter and based on the report submitted by the Tahsildar, appropriate action shall be initiated in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
