While disposing of the Writ Petition on 04.03.2020, this Court remitted back the matter to the Labour Court to take up the application and permit the respective parties to adduce both oral and documentary evidence and thereafter, pass an order on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to both parties. Such exercise shall be done by the Labour Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

2. This Court has received a communication from the Presiding Officer, Principa Labour Court, Vellore, seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 04.03.2020 passed in the Writ Petition. The learned Judge has expressed certain genuine difficulties for not complying with the orders of this Court within time.

3. Considering the Covid-19 pandemic, time is extended by three months from today to comply with the order dated 04.03.2020 passed by this Court in the Writ Petition.
