The petitioners seek for a direction to the fifth respondent to permit the petitioners to continue the lease granted for fish farming in the Periya Eeri, Pallipattu Village, Cuddalore District, in favour of them during 26.01.2024 till the election of new officio member for Pallipattu Village has been elected, based upon the representation dated 02.05.2025.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Manimaran, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he will be happy if the representation dated 02.05.2025 is disposed of within a time 2/4

period.

3. Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate representing the respondents states that the representation dated 02.05.2025 will be disposed of within a period of four (4) weeks from today. The said submission is recorded.
