(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c), appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and Mr. V.Raghavan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.4 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The petitioner is seeking direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the respondent No.4 in Arasamarathu Yeri situated in S.No.52, Udayavartheeyanur Village, Ambalavan Kattalai Hamlet, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District.

3. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) has tendered the affidavit of respondent No.3, i.e., Tahsildar, Udayarpalayam Taluk. In the affidavit, it is stated that after receiving the representation from the petitioner on 13.05.2018, the said land was measured and it was confirmed that there were encroachments made by the respondent No.4. Hence, they are taking action in accordance with law against the encroachment made by the respondent No.4.

4. In view of the above, no further directions are necessary except to direct that the authorities to take necessary action in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
