2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioners seeks a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to consider their representations dated 28.11.2014 and 27.11.2014 respectively within a time frame.

4. It is the grievance of the petitioners that though they have applied for ration cards before the 3rd respondent on 06.01.2011 along with necessary documents, till date the same has not been issued to them, as a result of which they could not be able to get https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the benefits of the State and Central Governments. In this regard, representations dated 28.11.2014 and 27.11.2014 were sent to the respondents to issue new ration cards to them. But, no action was initiated by them. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court.

In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners applications dated 06.01.2011 for issuing ration cards and also the subsequent representations dated 28.11.2014 and 27.11.2014, conduct an enquiry and thereafter pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
