Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider petitioners representations dated 25.05.2018 and 06.08.2018 respectively, in the light of the earlier orders issued by the Government in G.O.(D) No.173, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, dated 31.07.2013 and pass appropriate orders regarding relaxation of rules and regularisation of the petitioners services as Assistant and grant them all consequential benefits.

C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners representations dated 25.05.2018 and 06.08.2018 respectively, in the light of the earlier orders issued by the Government in G.O.(D) No.173, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, dated 31.07.2013 and to pass appropriate orders regarding relaxation of Rules and regularisation of the petitioners services as Assistant and to grant them all consequential benefits.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader (Coop.) appearing for the respondents. 3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are working as Assistants on deputation basis at the Cuddalore District Central Cooperative Bank. They were initially appointed in the year 2000 and even after putting in 19 years of service, their services have not yet been regularized. The petitioners made representations dated 25.05.2018 and 06.08.2018 respectively, for regularisation of service, however, till date, the same were not considered. Hence, these writ petitions.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representations dated 25.05.2018 and 06.08.2018 respectively and to pass appropriate orders, within the stipulated time. 5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representations dated 25.05.2018 and 06.08.2018 respectively, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
6.The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs.
