The petitioner was appointed as Revenue Assistant in Group II services by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. The petitioner joined duty on 11.01.2010 in Karur District Revenue Unit. The petitioner appears to have passed the Revenue Test and successfully completed the basic training and Survey Training. The petitioner wanted transfer from Karur District to Coimbatore District. 2. While so, the fourth respondent recommended the case of the petitioner for declaration of probation on 04.08.2014. It is the case of the petitioner that notwithstanding the recommendation made by the fourth respondent, further action was not taken by the second respondent. The petitioner is therefore, before this court.

3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the proposal made by the fourth respondent for declaration of probation of the petitioner and post him as Firka Revenue Inspector, taking into account his seniority. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
