O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of Computer Operator with

effect from the date of their initial appointment with all attendant benefits.

2. The writ petitioners were initially appointed as Computer Operators on temporary basis. The learned counsel for the writ petitioners, Mr.P.Rajendran would submit that the initial appointment of the writ petitioners were made by following due process and the writ petitioners are continuously working. The 3rd petitioner / R.Cyril had resigned the post and the relief is not pressed. As far as the writ petitioners 1 and 2 are concerned, they are serving as Computer Operator continuously.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that proposals were submitted for sanctioning of regular post of Computer Operator and to approve the Rules confirmed. However, the Government is yet to take final decision in this regard.

4. In view of the fact that the proposals are already pending before the Government, the case of the writ petitioners 1 and 2 is directed to be considered soon after a decision is taken by the Government approving rules and grant of sanction of post.

5. With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
