With the consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2023 and to take necessary steps to remove the advertisement Boards.

3. According to the petitioner in G.N.D. Street, Red Hills area, the advertisement boards, ranging from 10 to 30 feet, are put up for display in the place owned by Highways Department causing hindrance to the mobility of people and severe traffic congestion and thus, necessary steps have to be taken to remove the advertisement boards. In this regard, the petitioner has already gave representation to the respondents on 18.04.2023 and subsequently, the petitioner has given representation on 02.05.2023 to the 4th respondent. The only grievance of the petitioner is that till date the representation sent by the petitioner has not been considered.

4. In view of the limited prayed sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the Page 3/6

petitioner, we direct the 4th respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 02.05.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the 3rd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. (J.N.B,J.)
