O R D E R

(This Case has been heard through Video Conferencing) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 397, 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.1676 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution as per the de-facto complainant is that the petitioner along with other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and threatened him and also assaulted him with knife and snatched an amount of Rs.700/- from him.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this the second anticipatory bail petition. The earlier bail petition was dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.16212 of 2020 by an order dated 13.10.2020. He would further submit that there are three previous cases as against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner has got three previous cases of similar nature and that the petitioner is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
