Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 8.12.2014 and effect the promotion to the post of Assistant Manager from the post of Assistant on the basis of the seniority list dated 10.1.2013 based on the employee code number forthwith.

O R D E R

The petitioners submitted a representation on 8.12.2014, requesting the second respondent to promote them based on the seniority list dated 10.1.2013. Since there was no follow up action taken by the second respondent, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the second respondent is now seized of the matter and orders would be passed as expeditiously as possible.

3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 8.12.2014 on merits and as per law. It is needless to point out that all the affected parties should be given notice before taking a decision in the matter. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
