Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose the representation dated 28.03.2013 made by the petitioner which pending before the second respondent in the proceeding No.11742012/A1 dated 19.4.2013.

ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Chitti Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and with the consent of either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of her representation dated 28.3.2013, wherein the petitioner has sought for grant of patta. In fact the representation was considered and an enquiry notice was also issued by the second respondent, vide notice dated 11.06.2013 and it appears that the enquiry was adjourned on three occasions and the petitioner has appeared on all those three occasions. However, the second respondent has not passed any orders and therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 24.12.2014 and has approached this Court by way of this writ petition.

3. In the light of the fact that already enquiry was commenced by the second respondent, there will be a direction to the second respondent to issue one more notice to the petitioner and all other persons, who are likely to be aggrieved, hear the parties and pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
