Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the pending amount of difference of Leave Liability of Rs.53,590/- and the pending amount of difference of Gratuity of Rs.44,970/- to the petitioner as communicated in Letter No.316/ul/TNSTC(V)/KPM/2024 dated 15.03.2024 under Right to Information Act, 2005 along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum payable from the date of retirement in the light of the judgment passed by this Court on 11.01.2024 in W.P.No.568 of 2024.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to pay the pending amount of difference of Leave Liability of Rs.53,590/- and the pending amount of difference of Gratuity of Rs.44,970/- to the petitioner with interest at the rate of 6% per annum. 2.

The petitioner was retired as a Special Grade Driver in the respondent Corporation on 31.05.2017. However, the petitioner was not settled the leave liability and gratuity. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation and also obtained information under the Right to Information Act.

On perusal of the information furnished by the petitioner, the respondents have not disbursed the leave liability and gratuity to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to disburse the leave liability and gratuity along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
