ORDER

On the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.1052 of 2016 was registered by the 3rd respondent police under Section 294(B), 324, 506(II) IPC. By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction of the 3rd respondent police to alter the case into one under Section 294(B) 323, 324, 3236, 307, 506(II) IPC.

2. From reading of the prayer, it is seen that the petitioner has given a wrong crime number. Since the petitioner has given a wrong crime number, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with the correct crime number and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
