..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2014 and to approve and regularize the petitioner appointment as Lecturer in Chemistry in the Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam in the sanctioned retirement vacancy of Mr.S.Innasi Savari Doss with effect from 19.01.2007 to 29.07.2007 based on the approval given by the first respondent to the similarly placed person in Na.Ka.No.19837/F2/2007 dated 14.03.2014 and Na.Ka.No.32834/F2/2014 dated 31.12.2014 with monetary and service and all other benefits for the said period.

The appointment of the petitioner was approved by the Education Department. It is her grievance that the respondents have not approved the period from 19.01.2007 to 29.07.2007. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.11.2014 requesting the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent to approve and regularize her appointment for the period from 19.01.2007 to 29.07.2007.
The petitioner in the said representation has clearly stated that she was appointed against the sanctioned post and as such, there would be no difficulty to approve the period in question.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.11.2014 on merits and in the light of the order dated 28.10.1999. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
