Mr.Mohammed Fayaz Ali, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claiming to be one of the Jamathar of Pattur Jamia Masjid at Pattur Village, a notified Wakf under the supervisory control of the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, filed the present writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to conduct election by secret ballot to the said Wakf as sought for by the petitioner through his representation dated 07.07.2017. It is stated that the period of erstwhile office bearers expired on 16.08.2017 and therefore, the election has to be conducted immediately to elect the new office bearers to the Wakf.

3. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has given such representation on 07.07.2017 which is still pending before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
