ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the writ petitioner for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the sub-divisions 854-32, 854-33 and 854-34 and restore the earlier S.No.854 of the petitioner family in Dasiripalli Village, Denkanikottai Taluk in the revenue records. 2.Mr.K.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel for the petitioner would state that grand father of the petitioner namely Kenja Reddy purchased the house measuring to an extent of 4 cents and

registered the sale deed on 20.08.1951 and from the date onwards he was in possession and enjoyment of the land. After his demise, it is now in the occupation of the petitioner and his brother. It is further stated that the patta was originally issued in the name of the petitioner and his forefathers, however, the Revenue Authorities made sub division of the petitioner's property and added three sub divisions and mentioned Survey 854-32, 854-33 and 854-34 without notice to the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.

4. Mr.D.Suryanarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader would state that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

5. In the light of the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, and the submission of the learned counsels, this Court without going into the merits of this matter, directs the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording opportunity to all the necessary parties.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
