ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed challenging the notification dated 01.06.2024 in and by which applications are invited for various posts in the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research at Kalpakkam.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Senior Central Government Panel appearing on behalf of the first respondent would submit that the posts are under the department of Autonomic Energy, the said institution is not an autonomous institution, and the institution is functioning directly under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. If that be the position, then since the post is under Central and Civil Service, the petitioners have to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal under the Page No. 2 of 4
Administrative Tribunal Act for readdressal of their grievances.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, with liberty to the petitioners to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal. Merely because this Writ Petition was pending, the efflux of the last date i.e., 30.06.2024 cannot be put against the petitioners, and the petitioners can canvass all the grounds before the Central Administrative Tribunal. 27.06.2024 jrs Note: The Registry is directed to return the original impugned order.
